Job summary

Cardinal Health in New York is seeking an Assoc II, Warehouse Ops to assist on inbound activities and ship products as needed. This role supports materials handling within our distribution environment.

The job requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment. Overtime may be required; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly.
• Previous material handling equipment experience (PIT) preferred.
• RF scanner and/or voice to pick experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Follow established SOPs to process orders including picking, quality checks, packing and shipment preparation.
• Perform cycle counts.
• Operate material handling equipment as required.
• Cross-train in multiple areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Utilize Warehouse Management System to check in/out products.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with safety rules.
