Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Warehouse Team Member I in Florida to perform distribution center tasks using RF barcode scanners and various equipment. You will handle receiving, picking, packing, loading/unloading batteries, and maintain a safe, accurate warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include operating a forklift, maintaining certifications, tagging pallets, and updating warehouse reports. Ability to multitask and adapt is required; some overtime may be necessary.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process system and manual transactions (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship).
• Load and unload batteries.
• Restock batteries.
• Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations.
• Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries.
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.
• Accurately maintain warehouse reporting and claims.
• Operate a forklift and maintain a current certification.
• Properly tag pallets (for transfer, pick, pack, ship).
• General warehousing duties (restocking shelves, housekeeping).
• Ability to multi-task and transition between tasks.
• Other warehouse duties as assigned.
