Job summary

KeHE Distributors, LLC in Romeoville, IL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our employee-owned distribution center. You'll help receive, stock, pick, pack, and ship shipments, operate warehouse equipment, and support safe, accurate order fulfillment.

This full-time role offers a $20.25/hour pay, shift Mon-Thu with 1:00 PM–11:00 PM, benefits after 30 days including Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k), ESOP, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, day shifts, and overnight schedules.
• At least one year of experience in food distribution or a warehouse environment.
• Experience operating powered warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers).
• Strong communication with internal customers and management.
• Follow safe warehouse practices and prioritize safety.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment and assist in receiving, stowing, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Match product descriptions with label descriptions and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Build pallets and maintain production standards while minimizing errors.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain safety and teamwork in all tasks.
