Job summary

Eastman Chemical Company in Longview, Texas, is seeking personnel to receive, unload, and process materials in a warehouse setting. You will inspect parts, stock and issue items, weigh shipments, and coordinate with maintenance for repairs.

Proficiency with SAP and MS Office is required, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Candidates should be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts and lift heavy loads in all weather conditions, indoors and outdoors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Comfortable working in all weather/conditions, indoors and outdoors.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights).
• Ability to lift and move loads.

Responsibilities

• Unload and process direct and indirect materials safely.
• Inspect incoming parts and materials for description, overages, shortages or damage.
• Stock, control, and issue spare parts and materials per procedures.
• Weigh shipments and route to unloading locations.
• Perform minor maintenance and coordinate with maintenance for major repairs.
• Follow written/verbal instructions and procedures.
• Troubleshoot operational problems.
• Knowledge and support of SAP and Microsoft Office; access procedures and data in SAP and other systems.
• Follow safety, environmental, and company rules and policies.
