Job summary

YQN in Texas seeks a Warehouse Operation Supervisor (Inbound/Outbound) who is bilingual in English and Mandarin to lead a team, manage staffing and training, and uphold safety and process discipline in a busy warehouse.

You will drive performance, schedule adherence, reporting, and customer service excellence, with a salary of $75,000 to $100,000 per year, full-time onsite, Monday–Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• At least 1 year of experience in logistics or warehouse management.
• Proven knowledge of the logistics sector and network of providers.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of full-time employees, including staffing, training and development.
• Drive performance and productivity through coaching and disciplined feedback.
• Direct operational activities in the warehouse and ensure safety compliance.
• Manage schedules and time-off to minimize disruption.
• Generate and distribute daily/operational reports.
• Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain inventory security and integrity.

• Leadership and Team Management: Oversee a team of full-time employees, responsible for a wide array of tasks including staffing, training, professional development, motivation, retention, and disciplinary actions up to termination.
• Performance Enhancement: Propel workforce excellence by implementing progressive strategies in performance and productivity management. Provide consistent, equitable feedback, and offer coaching and counseling as necessary.
• Operational Oversight: Direct the operational activities within warehouse settings. This includes conducting operational meetings to ensure adherence to work instructions, workflow processes, and safety regulations. Oversee the accurate implementation of work schedules and ensure the quality completion of tasks.
• Schedule Management: Administer the scheduling of employee time-offs, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Reporting: Generate and distribute various reports essential for daily operations.
• Customer Service Excellence: Deliver superior customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Security and Integrity: Maintain the security of the facility and uphold the integrity of the inventory.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
• Professional Experience: At least 1 year of experience in logistics or warehouse management.
• Industry Expertise: Profound knowledge of the logistics sector with a network of logistics service providers.
• Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership, influence, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork capabilities.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
