Job summary

Pittston Co-Packers is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to support accurate data entry, inventory control, and shipping/receiving documentation in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role requires attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work with ERP/WMS systems. Candidates should be able to lift 50+ lbs and operate in various temperature zones, indoors and outdoors as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years' experience in a warehouse or transportation role preferred.
• Experience with inventory management systems (ERP, WMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process shipping and receiving documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain inventory records and assist in cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Enter material movements and transactions in the inventory management system.
• Coordinate with forklift operators and warehouse staff to ensure materials are staged, stored, and shipped correctly.
• Verify inbound deliveries against purchase orders and report discrepancies.
• Prepare and print labels, Bills of Lading (BOL), and other logistics documentation.
• Maintain records of product codes, lot numbers, and storage locations.
• Support organization of warehouse supplies, paperwork, and documentation files.
• Maintain communication with external vendors, brokers, or customers through email and other electronic communication channels.
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety, food safety, and quality standards, including GMPs, PPE requirements, and hazard reporting.
• Manage the inbound process for bulk tankers and bulk unloading.
• Perform all other duties or tasks as assigned by management to support departmental or company objectives.
