Job summary

J&L Building Materials, Inc. in Avondale, PA is seeking a Material Handler to support our branch operations. You will prepare customer orders, load and unload materials, operate a forklift, and maintain accurate inventory and paperwork while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Fill requests for materials from invoices and pick slips by assembling customer orders from stock and loading them onto pallets or vehicles.
• Operate forklift trucks to load, unload, or transport materials and perform pre-operational checks.
• Maintain safe and efficient warehouse operations and proper inventory control.
