Warehouse Materials Handler - Morning Shift 7a-3:30p

Join us for the Warehouse Materials Handler - Morning Shift 7a-3:30p role at Second Nature Brands.

This role offers a pay range of $17.20/hr, based on skills and experience. Your actual pay will be discussed with your recruiter.

Position Overview

We aim to grow Second Nature Brands 4x from $500MM to over $1B in the next 4 years through organic growth and M&A. We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Material Handler to be a vital part of our supply chain team, based at Sanders Chocolate Factory, 23770 Hall Road, Clinton Township, MI 48036. Regular hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, with overtime as needed. The starting rate is $17.20/hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately using RF scanners.
• Operate stand-up forklifts safely for transporting and stacking materials.
• Load and unload trucks following safety standards.
• Follow FEFO inventory procedures.
• Use SAP for inventory management and reporting.
• Prepare shipping documents like Bills of Lading and packing slips.
• Verify and receive inbound shipments.
• Store incoming materials properly, respecting allergen policies.
• Perform stock rotation and participate in inventory audits.
• Organize outbound shipments and maintain warehouse organization.
• Follow GMP, QFS, OSHA safety policies and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a material handler or warehouse worker.
• Forklift operation experience required.
• Proficiency with RF scanners and inventory systems like SAP.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of allergen policies and safety protocols.
• Availability for weekend and overtime work.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, reach, kneel, and walk frequently.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and wear PPE.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing or distribution warehouses.
• Strong organizational skills and basic computer skills.
