Job summary

Horton Emergency Vehicles in Grove City, Ohio, is seeking a warehouse associate to support production and distribution operations. Under general supervision, you will move parts, track inventory, and operate material handling equipment as needed.

This role requires three years in a warehouse, forklift experience preferred, and a careful, safety-minded approach. You will read measurements, enter data, and help keep a clean, organized facility in support of Terex's manufacturing network.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy.
• Proficient in data entry and use of scanning devices.
• Have a valid Ohio Driver's License.
• Ability to read metric tape measures and use measuring devices.
• Ability to perform all operations within acceptable inventory accuracy, quality and time standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Inventory Accuracy.
• Moves parts, WIP or finished product and delivers mail packages to various department locations and/or warehouse locations.
• Operates pallet jacks, rolling carts or forklifts.
• Maintains the required documentation of all parts and materials moved in accordance with the specified procedures.
• Drives in various road conditions, small roadways, highways.
• Ensures work areas and other designated work areas are maintained in a safe and neat manner.
• Assists with the training and instruction of new employees who may be assigned to this area.
• Set work priorities to meet production goals as scheduled per assigned department.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those in contact on a day-to-day basis.
