As a Warehouse Materials Handler, you will execute operations involving stocking and preparing orders of building materials for distribution to a network of customers. Customer service and teamwork are of utmost importance. Your work environment will include both inside and outside areas to prepare customer orders, with strict attention to safety and order accuracy during loading and unloading. This position requires detailed, repetitive work with consistent, accurate results.

Responsibilities

• Pulling and checking orders for delivery
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Using the computer system to print delivery paperwork
• Stocking shelves and assisting customers
• Driving forklift in the picking area and building pallets/loads
• Organizing building materials efficiently with various equipment
• Following daily operations schedule, with flexibility to adapt to customer needs
• Organizing warehouse and yard work areas regularly
• Making decisions within clear guidelines, supported by team and management
• Paying close attention to detail to ensure high-quality work

Job Requirements

• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
• Ability to lift 40-80 pounds throughout the workday
• Capability to handle repetitive tasks efficiently
• Adherence to safety policies
• Reliable and predictable attendance
• Ability to walk, bend, lift, and reach for 8-10 hours daily
• Ability to withstand environmental temperatures (winter and summer)
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience
• Forklift experience
