Job summary

Eastern Propane Corp is seeking a Warehouse Materials Coordinator in New Hampshire to ensure accurate movement of goods, packing, receiving, and procurement of materials.

You will read orders, collaborate with Sales and Service to maintain stock levels, inspect received goods, perform cycle counts, and use tablets and computers to document workflow. The role emphasizes safety and DOT compliance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions; move, gather, and distribute materials to accurately satisfy the documentation.
• Collaborate with Sales and Service teams to maintain stock levels and meet internal/external customer needs.
• Examine received goods and packing lists for quality and completeness; reject goods as needed.
• Perform cycle counts according to predetermined standards.
• Utilize tablets, smartphones, laptops, and desktops to manage workflow and provide necessary documentation to end users.
• Sort materials and place on racks or bins according to storage location; reassign locations as needed.
• Assemble requisitions and distribute items to staging, packing, shipping, or requisitioner areas.
• Label materials with identifying information via bagging, barcode labeling, or other marking devices.
• Complete and maintain all forms and paperwork.
• Support policies and procedures, including licensure, DOT, and SOP requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Remain alert and complete work safely.
• Prepare and ship items, determining appropriate shipment methods and packaging.

About this opportunity

The Warehouse Materials Coordinator position is primarily responsible for the accurate and timely movement of goods to and from the warehouse, the preparation of goods for shipment and the processing of goods being received, and the purchase and procurement of a variety of materials, supplies and equipment

What your role will look like

• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions; move, gather, and distribute materials to accurately satisfy the documentation.
• Collaborate successfully with Sales and Service teams to maintain necessary stock levels and meet the needs of internal and external customers.
• Examine received goods and packing lists for quality and completeness; reject goods as needed.
• Perform cycle counts according to predetermined standards.
• Utilize web-based platforms on tablets, smart phones, laptops, and desktops to manage workflow, record data, print receipts, and provide necessary documentation to end users.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined storage location, or assign/re-assign location as necessary.
• Assemble and complete requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to staging areas, packing station, shipping area, or to requisitioner.
• Mark materials with identifying information by bagging, barcode labeling, or other marking devices.
• Complete and maintain all forms and paperwork.
• Support Eastern's policies and procedures, including by maintaining required licensure, meeting state, Department of Transportation (DOT), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) requirements, and complying with all applicable regulatory standards.
• Remain alert and focused and complete work in a safe manner.
• Prepare and ship items as required, including determining appropriate methods of shipment, proper packaging, and processing of shipment.

What you'll bring to this role:

• Education: High school diploma.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years' warehousing experience preferred.
• Ability to comprehend appliance breakdowns (schematics).
• Proficient knowledge of transportation companies.
• Demonstrated knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the purchasing, shipping, receiving, and warehouse fields.
• Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information.
