Job summary

Eastern Industrial Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of products. You will handle receiving, inspecting, staging, and shipping, using forklifts and order pickers, while maintaining accurate records.

This role combines hands-on warehousing with local delivery duties, requiring good communication, a clean driving record, and the ability to work as part of a team in a growth-oriented, family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and safe driving required.
• Experience operating forklifts and handling warehouse duties.
• Delivery driving experience preferred; clean driving record.
• DOT medical card preferred; assistance available.
• Drug test and background check required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and stage materials from carriers and returns.
• Pull orders and package for shipment using forklifts or order pickers.
• Prepare shipping documents and maintain high quality standards.
• Load, secure, and deliver orders to local customers and other Eastern facilities.
• Maintain real-time communication with supervisors via GPS.

As a Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver, you will be at the forefront of logistics, ensuring that our valued customers receive their products safely and on time. What You'll Do

Warehouse & Material Handling:

• Receive and inspect materials from Motor Freight Carriers, UPS/FedEx, and customer returns.
• Accurately pull and stage orders for shipment using forklifts or order pickers.
• Ensure items are packaged securely and labeled correctly.
• Complete shipping documentation and system entries while maintaining high quality standards

Delivery Driver

• Load and secure deliveries on Eastern vehicles for safe transport.
• Deliver orders to local customers and other Eastern Distribution Centers.
• Maintain real-time communication with supervisors via phone & GPS.
• Inspect and ensure proper working condition of delivery trucks.
