Job summary

WireMasters is seeking a Material Handler to manage incoming and outgoing material in our Tennessee facility. You will load, unload, label, stock, and inspect goods, using forklifts and scanners to ensure accurate inventory and timely shipments.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, solid math and reading skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This role prioritizes safety, organization, and efficiency in daily warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, and transfers material to designated areas per procedures.
• Labels and stocks material in warehouse using equipment (scan guns, forklifts, pickers).
• Inspects material for deficiencies or breakages prior to shipment or storage.
• Records material discrepancies using appropriate procedures.
• Completes inventory preparation for warehouse stock.
• Picks material from shelves per ticket requirements with forklift or picker.
• Prepares material for shipment and completes required paperwork.
• Ensures packaging prevents freight damage and maintains a neat workspace.
• Follows safety procedures and reports hazards to management.
