Job summary

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, and transfers material to designated areas.
• Labels and stocks material in warehouse using equipment (scan guns, forklifts, or pickers).
• Inspects material for deficiencies or breakages prior to shipment or storage.
• Records all material discrepancies utilizing appropriate procedures.
• Completes inventory preparation for warehouse stock.
• Picks material from shelves per ticket (forklift or picker required).
• Follows tickets and shipping standards in accordance with procedures.
• Packages material to prevent freight damage.
• Maintains a neat and orderly workplace; moves pallets, inventories, sweeps.
• Follows safety procedures and reports dangerous conditions.

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, and transfers material to designated areas in accordance with training procedures.
• Labels and stocks material in warehouse utilizing equipment (i.e., scan guns, forklifts, or pickers) – lifting and carrying material may be required.
• Inspects material for deficiencies or breakages prior to shipment or warehouse storage.
• Records all material discrepancies utilizing appropriate procedures.
• Completes inventory preparation for warehouse stock.
• Pulls material from the shelf in accordance with ticket requirements (use of forklift of picker required).
• Respools and fills customer order in accordance with ticket and completes appropriate paperwork/checklists.
• Organizes and prepares material for shipments as needed.
• Follows ticket instructions and shipping standards in accordance with procedures.
• Ensures all material is packaged adequately to prevent freight damage.
• Always maintains a neat and orderly workplace - includes moving pallets, straightening inventory, sweeping, and removing/disposing of debris.
• Follows safety procedures in accordance with approved training and reports any dangerous conditions to management immediately.
