Job summary

Interglass Corp in Savannah, GA is seeking a Material Handler to receive, store, and distribute materials within the warehouse and support safe truck court movements during loading and unloading.

You will read orders, move items, operate forklift and related equipment, maintain clear labeling, and coordinate with the Logistics Manager and drivers to ensure timely and safe operations. High school education required; forklift certs preferred; Spanish helpful; CDL possible within a year.

Qualifications

• Education: High school education.
• Forklift & Crane Rigging Certification (preferred)
• Forklift Certification (required)
• Spanish proficiency
• Ability to obtain CDL license within one year (may be required)

Responsibilities

• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Convey materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Pull customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to the packing station or shipping department.
• Mark materials with identifying information and open crates and other containers as needed.
