Job summary

Rugby Architectural Building Products is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in the Winston-Salem area. The role involves receiving, unloading, and storing material, as well as picking and loading product for customer orders, with a Monday–Friday schedule beginning at 7 a.m.

and continuing until completion. This position requires strong physical stamina, the ability to lift heavy items with assistance, and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations and following safety procedures.
• Forklift experience and certification are a plus.
• This is a Safety Sensitive position requiring routine drug screenings.
• Ability to handle heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Offload trucks and load products for delivery to customers.
• Operate a forklift and ensure accurate material handling.
• Verify that loaded materials match customer orders.
• Maintain safety procedures and regularly participate in safety meetings.
• Lift heavy items (up to 50-100 pounds with a helper) as needed.

Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, operating out of 26 branches throughout the United States. Our primary business is non-structural architectural grade building products sold principally to customers who create and produce end-products for the commercial, industrial, retail, residential and institutional markets. (In New Century, KS, Lebanon, TN, and Rockford, IL - we do business as: Olathe Millwork, Warren Brothers, River City Millwork respectfully.)

Position: We are growing and seeking a Warehouse Associate! The Warehouse Associate is responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, to include receiving, unloading, and storing material, as well as picking and loading product for our customer orders.

Your Day-to-Day

to crush it in our warehouse, you'll need to:

• Offload trucks with materials from our vendor, and load trucks with product to ship to our customers.
• Operate a forklift; forklift operator experience and certification is a plus!
• Ensure that material loaded for delivery matches customer orders.
• Work safely, attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policies
• Lift extremely heavy, awkward products (up to 50-100 pounds with a helper) repeatedly to store and load onto a truck.
