Job summary

QXO is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support order picking and material handling in a manufacturing/warehouse setting. You will operate RF scanning equipment, use a forklift, and assist with loading/unloading and container opening.

Duties include ensuring safety, maintaining cleanliness, and participating in safety trainings. Local travel is minimal, and the role is safety-sensitive with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Driver's license required if operating a company vehicle.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification or willingness to be certified.
• RF scanning experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders using an RF scanning gun.
• Move product and material using a forklift or pallet jack.
• Open containers using steel cutters, crowbar, claw hammer, or other hand tools.
• Manually load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, shelves, or trucks and install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Convey materials to or from storage or work sites to designated area, using hand truck, electric dolly, or another device.
• Ensure a clean work area and maintain machines and equipment using a broom, rags, and cleaning compounds.
• Actively participate in periodic workplace safety learning sessions.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.
