Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking a Recycler for our warehouse to operate equipment safely and keep a clean, organized work area. You will unload and sort recyclable materials, place items in designated areas, and report any unsafe conditions.

This role requires effective communication, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong organizational skills. Flexible hours including weekends are required; forklift operation and safety are essential to daily duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate proactively and effectively, including comprehension and instruction following.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a warehouse atmosphere.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to operate equipment such as forklift, bailer, compactor, densifier, clamp truck, etc.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends.

Here's what you will be doing:

• The Recycler is responsible for operating equipment in a safe manner, unloading recyclable materials, and placing materials in the designated areas. This role will help maintain a clean and safe work environment, and identify and report any and all unsafe conditions to the Lead/Manager.

• Operate equipment in a safe manner

This is what you will need:

• Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a Warehouse atmosphere
• Strong organizational skills
• Must be able to operate equipment (such as forklift, bailer, compactor, densifier, clamp truck, etc)
• Must be able to work flexible hours determined by the needs of the department including weekends

Base Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 /hour (Based on experience)
