Job summary

Gentex Corporation in Zeeland, MI is seeking a Material Handler. This full-time role moves material in and out of the warehouse, using forklift and Gentex inventory systems to ensure accurate receipts and shipments.

You will perform receiving/shipping, cycle counts, and material movements, while maintaining safety and high accuracy. Prior manufacturing or material handling experience and basic math/communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of manufacturing or material handling experience.
• Ability to obtain certification and operate all material handling equipment including forklifts.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Pick and deliver material to manufacturing using the Gentex system.
• Perform receiving and shipping functions with the Gentex system.
• Process inventory receipts, issues, put-aways, and shipments in the system.
• Operate material handling equipment to load/unload trucks and move material.
• Contribute to cycle counts and inventory reconciliations as directed.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and adherence to procedures.
