Job summary

Gentex Corporation is seeking a Material Handler to move material safely and accurately in our warehouse. You will pick, deliver, receive, and ship materials using Gentex systems and operate forklifts as needed.

The role requires basic arithmetic, written/verbal communication, and a willingness to collaborate with production teams. Prior material handling experience is preferred, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of manufacturing or material handling experience.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Moderate to heavy physical lifting, up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Pick and deliver material to manufacturing using the Gentex inventory and warehouse control system.
• Perform receiving and shipping functions using the Gentex inventory and warehouse control system.
• Handle inventory transactions: receipts, issues, put-aways, and shipments in the system.
• Operate material handling equipment to load/unload trucks and move material.
• Conduct periodic cycle counts and assist in reconciliation of variances.
• Maintain safe and accurate work practices; support team goals.
