Job summary

Gentex Corporation is seeking a Material Handler to move material in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner using lift trucks and Gentex inventory systems. You will pick, deliver, receive, ship, and perform inventory transactions to support manufacturing.

This role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to operate equipment, perform cycle counts, and maintain a high standard of safety in a controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of manufacturing or material handling experience.
• Ability to obtain certification and operate material handling equipment (e.g., industrial lift trucks).

Responsibilities

• Pick and deliver material to manufacturing using the Gentex system.
• Perform receiving and shipping functions using the Gentex system.
• Handle inventory receipts, issues, put-aways, and shipments in the system.
• Operate material handling equipment to load/unload trucks and move material.
• Conduct periodic cycle counts and assist reconciling inventory records.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and adhere to safety policies.
