Job summary

Graybar in Joliet, IL is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to ensure products move efficiently from receiving to shipping. You will handle receiving, storing, selecting, packing, and shipping inventory using a Warehouse Management System.

You will operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts, perform daily safety inspections, and participate in cycle counts. This role requires physical stamina, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No fear of heights.
• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Minimum age of 18.
• 2+ years warehouse experience preferred.
• Prior large warehouse experience using a warehouse management system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, select, pack, and ship inventory.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts.
• Conduct cycle counts and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain clean warehouse and perform daily safety inspections per procedures.
• Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments.
