Job summary

Graybar is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler in Joliet, IL. You will receive, store, select, pack, and ship inventory using our Warehouse Management System. The role requires operating pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts, with an emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of warehouse experience, are able to lift and move heavy loads, and work well in a dynamic environment. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position starting at 8:00 AM with a 12:00 PM shift.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts.
• Comfort with lifting, climbing ladders and working in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Receive and store incoming material in the WMS.
• Select, pack and palletize shipments.
• Sort and pack LTL shipments; conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain clean, safe warehouse and perform daily safety inspections.

Our Zone utilizes a Warehouse Management System so technology is required to perform this job.
