Job summary

Graybar is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler in Minnesota. You will receive, store, select, pack, and ship inventory using a Warehouse Management System. The role emphasizes safety, clean work areas, and accurate cycle counts, with Monday–Friday shifts and a 12:00pm–9:00pm schedule.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 2+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Pass pre-employment physical testing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts.
• Receive and store incoming material using our WMS processes.
• Select, pack and palletize shipments; sort LTL shipments and conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain clean, safe warehouse; perform daily safety inspections.

As an employee-owned company, our employees are key to our success and are given opportunities to learn and grow into higher level positions.Work Shift and Hours:Monday - Friday, 12:00pm - 9:00pmCompensation Details:The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $19.50 per hour + $2.00 per hour shift differential + $2.00 department differential depending on experience.In this role you will:Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push cartsReceive and store incoming material in accordance with warehouse management system processSelect, pack and palletize shipmentsSort and pack less-than-truckload shipments, conduct cycle countsMaintain clean warehouse including following all safety procedures and performing daily safety inspectionsWhat you bring to the table:No fear of heightsPerform physical requirements in a warehouse environment including lifting various loads, cutting wire, climbing ladders and staying on the move in various temperatures, depending on the location; must pass pre-employment physical testingMinimum age of 18 requiredGood attendance and work ethic2+ years experience preferredPrior large warehouse experience using a warehouse management system preferredThe Value of Graybar:At Graybar, we are known for our comprehensive benefits and our employee stock ownership plan!
