Job summary

NFI in Tracy, CA is seeking a Material Handler to move materials, load freight, and support warehouse operations with safety and accuracy.

You will use RF scanning devices, pick and pack orders, verify shipments, and assist with cycle counts while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs material handling duties manually or with a hand truck within the facility.
• Loads finished product onto pallets or hand trucks as required.
• Stacks skids or pallets in storage or staging areas.
• Loads and unloads freight in an efficient, safe, and accurate manner.
• Picks and packs customer orders, assembling merchandise for shipment.
• Applies labels to shipments according to requirements.
• Processes orders including picking, checking, sorting, consolidating freight, wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and shipment confirmations.
• Verifies freight accuracy and checks for damage or infestation.
• Assists with physical inventories and cycle counts as needed.
• Uses RF scanning devices to support inventory management.
• Provides cleaning and sanitation services and maintains a clean work environment.
• Follows safety standards to maintain a safe work area.
• Performs other duties as required by management.
