Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of safety procedures and practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Experience with inventory and basic counting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Store, load and unload materials from bins, pallets, or vehicles.
• Open containers using steel cutters, crowbar, or other hand tools.
• Operate manual or mechanical devices and stock inventory shelves.
• Move loads with a hand-operated crane or hoist and signal operators.
• Read schedules and orders to determine items to move or distribute.
• Sort materials by size, type, or color and place on racks or bins.
• Record quantities moved on daily production sheets.
• Tag or label materials and prepare for delivery.
• Assemble crates and prepare for shipment when needed.
• Maintain work area, follow safety rules, and observe housekeeping.
