Job summary

Reliance, Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT seeks a warehouse associate within the Plant family to supervise and perform metals processing and distribution tasks. The role requires practical knowledge of materials, facilities, and methods used across Reliance metals operations.

You will move inventory, fill orders, load/unload equipment and trucks, tag materials, operate forklift/side loader/crane, and maintain a clean, safe work area while complying with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Generally responsible for completing basic, routine tasks with detailed instructions.
• Receives, places/returns items into stock inventory locations.
• Pulls and assembles orders based on reviewing work/shipping orders or other documentation.
• Moves material from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas using forklift, side loader, or crane.
• Maintains work area in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory or equipment and unload/load trucks.
• Tag material for proper identification and complete required documentation.
• Operate forklift, side loader, or crane to move materials.
• Spot checks on inventory and report irregularities to supervisor.
• May drive local deliveries using a non-DOT truck.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards.
