Responsibilities include retrieving materials, shearing to specifications, maintaining measuring tools, packing for shipment, and assisting with loading trucks.

Qualifications

• Read English
• Basic math skills required
• Knowledge of converting fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Computer data entry experience

Responsabilités

• Reviews work orders to determine material needed
• Retrieves material and stages for shearing
• Shears material per work order requirements
• Measures material to ensure tolerances
• Maintains measuring devices in good working order
• Packages material for storage or shipment
• Completes required paperwork and data entry
• Performs preventive maintenance on shear
• Maintains a clean, safe work area
• Operates forklift, crane, or other material handling equipment as needed
• Assists with loading/unloading trucks
• Performs other warehouse duties as assigned
