Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School diploma/GED preferred.
• Must possess a Valid Drivers License.
• Ability to meet current MVR quality criteria as defined by Federal regulations and/or company policy required.
• Warehousing and material handling experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain a certification to operate all required motorized material handling and rigging equipment.
• Clear oral and written communication skills, particularly legible handwriting required.
• Ability to show adequate manual dexterity, finger dexterity, arm-hand steadiness, and multi-limb coordination required.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions as applied to work situations required.
• Basic measurement skills, including taking, converting, and/or using measurements of length, width, height, and weight to perform basic math computations correctly required.
• Basic arithmetic skills to calculate and convert decimals and fractions required.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively required.
• Ability to make sound decisions based on a combination of factors including knowledge, experience, and judgment required.
• Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with supervisors and co-workers required.

Responsibilities

• Complete basic, routine tasks with detailed instructions.
• Move inventory or equipment, fill customer orders, pull material from racks, unload incoming material, load trucks and/or customer vehicles.
• Receive, place/return items into stock locations.
• Pull and assemble orders based on shipping orders or documentation.
• Tag material for proper identification and complete documentation.
• Move material using forklift, side loader, or crane.
• Operate yard truck for loading/unloading trailers.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and orderly.
• Sort and place material on rack or bins by size/type/product code.
• Spot check inventory and tag material as directed.
• Report irregularities to supervisor.
• Restock material.
• Occasionally drive motor vehicle for local deliveries and parts pick-ups.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards.
