Job summary

First Solar is seeking a Material Handler I to safely manage materials in a warehouse/shipping dock, including receiving, storage, cycle counting, and distribution to production areas. You will ensure accurate inventory transactions and timely material flow while adhering to EH&S standards.

The role requires forklift operation, inventory system proficiency, and experience with shipping/receiving documents, with attention to detail and safety compliance as top priorities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year sit-down forklift experience within the past 4 years.
• 6+ months of experience in a warehouse/material handling role preferred.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Basic mathematical and organizational skills.
• Experience with RF scanners.
• Able to use warehouse management software and inventory systems.
• Experience with shipping/receiving documents.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, cycle count, and distribute materials, tools, and products.
• Ensure correct Oracle transactions for goods receipts and issuances.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with daily/weekly cycle counts.
• Report equipment malfunctions and perform routine equipment inspections.
