Job summary

First Solar Inc. is seeking a Material Handler I to safely manage materials in the warehouse and shipping dock, including receiving, storage, cycle counting and distribution to production areas.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, perform daily cycle counts, complete Oracle transactions for goods receipts and issuances, and follow EH&S and C-TPAT rules while ensuring timely deliveries and accurate inventory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of sit-down forklift experience as primary function within the past 4 years.
• 6+ months of warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Experienced Industrial Equipment Operator.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe environment.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks per safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with EH&S policies and local/federal regulations.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to production areas or shipments.
• Perform routine inspections/maintenance on handling equipment.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
