Job summary

Samuel, Son & Co. is seeking a warehouse associate to maintain a safe, efficient work floor and ensure quality control on all incoming and outgoing materials.

The role supports multiple areas of production, including picking, packing, and handling of metal sheets. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in warehousing, forklift experience, and proficiency with tape measures, calipers, and micrometers, with strong attention to accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work or volunteer experience.
• 3 years of forklift/warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of company and customer requirements to material quality and ISO certification.
• High School education or GED.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Experience with warehouse and forklift/side loader equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, clean working environment and follow PPE rules.
• Ensure required tools are ready at start of shift.
• Inspect all material and packaging for quality and match to tickets.
• Move metal sheets to pallets and prepare for transfer to stock or shipping.
• Pick and pack orders using AS400.
• Report non-conformances and quarantine items in AS400.
• Follow the production control plan and safety regulations.
• Stand for long periods and perform in a fast-paced environment.
