Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking a Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations by receiving, storing, moving, and distributing materials. The role emphasizes accurate inventory, timely fulfillment, and safe forklift use, with potential overtime based on workload.

Responsibilities include receiving goods, picking and staging for production, and preparing orders for shipment, all while maintaining organized storage and precise records in WMS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly.
• Proficient with basic computer systems and inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and label inbound materials and deliveries.
• Pull, deliver, and stage materials for production and packing.
• Accurately assemble and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Restock inventory in designated locations, ensuring neat and organized storage.
• Support inventory control through physical and cycle counts.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
• Maintain accurate records of shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for data entry and inventory tracking.
• Report material discrepancies or shortages to supervisors.
• Follow safety procedures and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Assist with additional duties as needed.
