Job summary

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to stack, load, unload, and move materials.
• Stage materials for production and finished goods for shipment.
• Operate equipment like trash compactors and grinders where applicable.
• Ensure materials are banded, packaged, and labeled correctly.
• Inspect materials for defects and report issues to supervisor.
• Complete shipping paperwork; coordinate with drivers on load/unload and docking.
• Maintain inventory counts and proper storage.
• Maintain a safe working environment and monitor conditions.
• Maintain equipment care and maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team.
• Keep work area clean and organized; perform housekeeping.
• Other duties as assigned.
