Job summary

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking Material Handlers for a long-term contract to hire role at our client site in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Pay rate ranges from $20 to $23 per hour with shift options and competitive benefits.

The role requires forklift operation, basic computer skills, and experience with inventory software. Responsibilities include receiving, stocking, moving materials, and coordinating shortages while ensuring accurate stock levels.

Qualifications

• Experience with loading and unloading material from trucks or other vehicles.
• Ability to utilize hand tools and operating material handling equipment.
• Experience dealing with other functional areas to provide information on material status.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, move and control of materials in and out of company facilities.
• Maintain stock balances and coordinates shortages.
• Fork truck/electric pallet jack operation.
• Material handler position responsible for stocking and picking in bulk rack section; use of stock picker fork truck at heights.
• Responsible for controlling and maintaining accurate transfer of parts and materials in and out of stock room; verifies and maintains stores inventory.
