Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a Material Handler to support warehouse operations, including mixing and packaging products, maintaining inventory, and assisting in shipping and receiving. The role requires operating a forklift, following safety and cGMP guidelines, and handling hazardous materials with proper training.

The candidate must be physically capable of lifting 100 pounds and standing for long periods, in an indoor/outdoor warehouse environment, with competitive pay and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Ability to operate an industrial powered lift truck or forklift safely and per regulations.
• Knowledge of cGMP requirements as it pertains to FDARP as applicable to the facility.
• Ability to use and maintain respiratory protection equipment.
• Ability to learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials and wastes, with training.
• Physical ability to lift and carry at least 100 pounds; stand and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Mixes and packages Company products.
• Maintains inventory levels and assists in shipping and receiving products and materials in the warehouse.
• Loads and unloads company trucks and customer vehicles using forklift and related equipment.
• Ships and receives products according to company procedures.
• Assists in maintenance of the warehouse facility.
• Handles hazardous materials or waste per applicable procedures and paperwork.
• Prepares for shipment of hazardous waste and completes related inspections and documentation.
