Job summary

Univar Solutions in Cincinnati is seeking a Material Handler to load, unload, package, and stock products, maintain inventory, and assist in shipping and receiving.

The role requires operating an industrial forklift, handling hazardous materials per procedures, and complying with safety rules. You will contribute to a clean, efficient warehouse and support emergency response teams if needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate an industrial powered lift truck or forklift according to procedures and regulations.
• Knowledge of cGMP requirements as applicable to the facility.
• Ability to use and maintain respiratory protection equipment.
• Learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials and wastes with training.
• Physical ability to lift and carry at least 100 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads company trucks and other vehicles using forklift.
• Ships and receives products according to procedures.
• Maintains inventory levels and assists in shipping and receiving.
• Performs manual warehouse duties as assigned.
• Cleans and maintains warehouse and equipment.
• Adheres to quality processes and assists with resolving product quality issues.
