Job summary

Alliance Workforce Management is hiring Warehouse Material Handlers to support a high-volume food manufacturing facility in Owasso. These roles are responsible for safely moving, organizing, and storing meat products and raw materials using forklifts and other industrial equipment while ensuring accuracy and compliance with food safety standards.

You will operate forklifts, load and unload trucks, maintain inventory logs, and follow all safety and company policies in a cold storage environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or food processing environments preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred; must pass forklift skills test if not certified.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy boxes and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in cold or refrigerated environments.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated setting.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; Spanish is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Load and unload trucks, placing products in designated storage areas.
• Move, organize, and relocate pallets to maintain efficient warehouse flow.
• Manually handle boxes and materials when needed.
• Assist stack-off associates with pallet building and product organization.
• Perform basic equipment checks and maintain a safe work environment.
• Verify inbound shipments, inspect product quality, and complete receiving documentation.
• Record inventory data and maintain accurate shipping/receiving logs.
• Inspect trailers for odors, condensation, pests, or debris before unloading.
• Receive, log, and distribute parcel packages.
• Prepare outbound loads and maintain Box Room inventory, including daily counts.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for timely processing.
• Follow all food safety, warehouse safety, and company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Work Environment

• Frequent lifting of heavy boxes, crates, or meat products up to 70+ lbs unassisted.
• Extended standing and walking throughout the warehouse.
• Repetitive motions such as scanning, sorting, bending, and kneeling.
• Operation of forklifts and pallet jacks requiring coordination and physical strength.
• Work performed in cold storage areas; occasional exposure to heat outdoors or near equipment.
• Exposure to strong odors from raw and seasoned meat products.
• Hearing protection required due to noise levels.
• Corrected vision needed for close and distance work.
• Required PPE includes smocks, rubber-soled shoes, hair/beard nets, hearing protection, and hard hats.
