Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Norfolk is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to fulfill customer orders by building stable pallets and preparing them for shipment. You will navigate the warehouse picking area, using a pallet jack and PIT equipment, to meet safety and accuracy standards.

The role requires ability to lift up to 75 lbs, operate in a fast-paced setting, and cooperate with a team. Training is provided, with schedule starting at 9:00 AM and requiring Saturday availability.

Qualifications

• Knowledge acquired through up to 12 months of work experience.
• PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Certification: Pallet Jack
• High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Retrieves and places quantities of cases onto a pallet as instructed, ensuring safe, stable pallets and accuracy.
• Transports pallets to different warehouse areas using a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) pallet jack.
• Assists with warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Performs daily PIT checklist and reports issues.
• Corrects mistakes reported by the checker.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Supports efficient operation in a dynamic warehouse environment.
