GEODIS is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler in Elk Grove Village, IL. You will read schedules, pick and stage items, operate forklift equipment, and ensure accurate loading and safe handling of goods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–6 months warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions.
• Ability to follow safety regulations while operating equipment.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to learn warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedules, orders, and requisitions to determine items to move and sort.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring correct quantity and type.
• Sort and store materials according to size, type, or code.
• Assemble customer orders and stage for packing or shipping.
• Operate forklift or other equipment to move, load, and unload products.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report service needs.
• Support inventory checks and cycle counts.
• Assist with warehouse cleanup and safety practices.
• Report issues per ISO 9001 procedures.
