Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to support operations in our Illinois facility. You will move material and inventory, operate hand trucks or conveyors, and perform packing, scanning, and counting tasks to ensure accurate orders.

The role requires basic math, reading safety rules, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced warehouse. A flexible schedule and a positive, team-driven attitude are valued.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math calculations with or without a calculator.
• Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents.
• 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime.
• Experience using a handheld scanner.
• Positive attitude and the ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility
• Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment
• Perform duties that may include packing, scanning, kitting or counting products
• Verify orders, label products and use a handheld scanner
• Adhere to the 7S program
• Maintain a clean environment at all times
• Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members
