Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. seeks a Material Handler to support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility. You will use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment and may perform packing, scanning, kitting, or counting tasks.

The role requires basic math, ability to read safety rules and manuals, and at least 1 year of warehouse experience. A flexible schedule including potential overtime is expected, with a team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents.
• 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Move material and inventory throughout the facility.
• Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment.
• Pack, scan, kit or count products.
• Verify orders, label products and use a handheld scanner.
• Adhere to the 7S program.
• Maintain a clean environment at all times.
• Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members.
