Job summary

RK Logistics Group, Inc. in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a reliable Material Handler to move assets and manage inventory across the warehouse using RF handhelds and the WMS. You will support inbound receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping processes while maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts and hand trucks, performing cycle counts, validating product integrity, and ensuring safety and housekeeping standards are met in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0-2 years’ Warehouse and Logistics experience.
• 1-2 years’ forklift experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn LEAN principles (5S/7S).
• Great communication skills.
• Understanding of logistics, shipping, receiving, and work instructions.
• Strong math and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Prior experience with inventory control preferred.
• Excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Use hand trucks, dollies, pallet jacks and other equipment to move material.
• Unload inbound customer products and load outbound.
• Weigh products and take measurements (DIMS).
• Receive, unpack, verify product for accuracy.
• Process receiving exceptions as needed.
• Use RF tools to receive, pick, stock check, and ship in WMS.
• Conduct stock checks, cycle counts, inventory reconciliation.
• Pack, re-pack and wrap products for shipping and storage.
• Label parts during receipt, put away, picking or shipping.
• Pick parts for orders and shipments.
• Stage completed orders in staging area.
• Ensure proper shipping documents accompany orders.
• Inform supervisor of OSD (overages, shortages, damage).
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and RK policies.
• Perform housekeeping for a clean, safe workspace.
• Cross-train as needed to learn other warehouse functions.
