Job summary

Johnson Brothers of Rhode Island is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support inventory, order picking, loading, and shipping duties in a fast-paced distribution environment. The role runs Monday–Thursday with a 5pm start and completes tasks through to end of shift.

The position offers strong benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and paid time off, plus a 4-day work week. Pay starts at $23.00 per hour with opportunities to reach up to $29.00 per hour through incentives.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to pass background check, drug test, and physical.
• Ability to work independently and stay motivated to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Issue, receive, pick and transfer products to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain set work standards for order picking.
• Safely operate manual and power equipment.
• Load and unload products efficiently and safely.
• Check product quality prior to shipping.
• Review orders for shipment accuracy.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Shift

Pay

$23.00/hour. Team members can make up to $29.00/hour through additional incentive opportunities.

Duties

• Issue, receive, pick and transfer product to maintain accurate inventory.
• Maintain set work standards for picking orders.
• Safely operate and utilize manual and power equipment.
• Loading and unloading of product in an efficient and safe manner.
• Check product and packaging for quality purposes prior to shipping.
• Reviews orders for shipment to ensure accuracy.
• Other warehouse duties and activities as assigned.

Basic Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 18 years old
• Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to work independently, be self managed and motivated to meet deadlines
• Ability to pass the pre-employment screening: background check, drug test, and physical
