Job summary

M.S. Walker, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Associate for the Warren, RI location. This 3rd shift full-time role requires lifting up to 45 pounds and frequent night work, with responsibilities including hand or forklift picking and loading trucks for delivery.

Warehouse Associate (3rd Shift Full-Time - RI)

Location: Warren, RI

Description

Leading wine and spirits distributor, M.S. Walker, seeks a dedicated and motivated 3rd Shift Warehouse Associate at our Warren, Rhode Island location who can frequently lift up to 45 lbs and enjoys being a night owl!

Schedule

Full-time hours are Monday - Thursday from 7:00 pm to 5:00 am.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick product from warehouse shelves by hand or with a forklift
• Load trucks with picked product in efficient manner to be sent out for delivery
• To take and understand verbal direction from management while performing tasks in a productive manner
• Follow all company safety procedures and never put yourself or fellow workers at risk through unsafe work practices
• Communicate with fellow workers and management in an effective, positive manner to assure the completion of assigned tasks

Requirements

• 1-2 years of work experience in a warehouse environment
• Able to drive and operate all warehouse equipment, including: Forklifts, Order Pickers, and Pallet Jacks, in a safe and effective manner (we provide certifications)
• Ability to recognize and distinguish product, both visually and in writing
• Physical Requirements include, but are not limited to: ability to work at heights; long periods of walking, standing, bending and heavy lifting. Heavy lifting is quantified as the ability to lift single cases weighing up to 45 pounds repeatedly and for long durations of time
• Dependable and work in team environment
• 3rd Shift and Warehouse experience preferred
• Must pass physical exam

Pay range

$19 per hour with a $1.00 increase upon successful completion of the 90-day probationary period.
