Warehouse Material Handler – San Leandro, CA

Reports to: Warehouse Manager.

Job Overview

This position will be responsible for inventory transfer between San Leandro and Tracy, all local pickups and deliveries, and other warehouse-related duties.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver inventory transfers between San Leandro and Tracy warehouses
• Local vendor pickups and deliveries
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Uncrating and palletizing raw materials
• Receive inbound shipments from suppliers and carriersVerify quantities and documentation against purchase orders and packing slips
• Inspect incoming materials for damage and report discrepancies
• Enter and process receiving transactions in the ERP system
• Label, stage, and store materials in designated warehouse locations
• Support efforts to ensure materials are stored properly to maximize space and comply with business and safety procedures
• Perform daily cycle counts
• Maintain organized warehouse and receiving areas following 5S and safety requirements
• Support shipping and warehouse operations as needed
• All other projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Forklift Certification required
• Must have a valid California Driver License
• Acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs
• Experience in moderate to high volume production environment
• Must be a team player, professional, driven by first-time accuracy and able to work under pressure without creating workplace disruptions
• Highly motivated, organized, with a positive attitude
• This position will be a combination of driving and onsite in the warehouse
