Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requests to build/produce projects per specifications.
• Receive incoming inventory, unload deliveries, and accept merchandise.
• Verify deliveries by inspecting items and reconciling counts.
• Prioritize and separate shipments, stock, and returns.
• Process outbound orders: pick, pack, and prepare for shipment.
• Prepare paperwork and route to the appropriate department.
• Communicate difficult order issues to leads/manager.
• Inspect and maintain equipment such as scanners and terminals.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization.
• Observe safety procedures and report concerns.
• Perform all physical requirements with or without accommodation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Ultimate Staffing is hiring Warehouse Associates to work onsite in San Leandro CA. Long term job opportunity, work Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Company offers great stability and longevity opportunity.

General Duties & Responsibilities

• * Accurately analyze customer requests to build/produce specialized projects to specifications
• * Receive incoming inventory, including unloading delivery vehicles and accepting the merchandise
• * Verify delivery shipments received by inspecting condition of the items, comparing and reconciling count ordered versus received on packing list and noting of any discrepancies on the purchase orders for further research
• * Prioritize and separate incoming shipments, stock, special order projects and/or returns
• * Process outbound orders by pulling merchandise from its shelf location, packing, and preparing for shipment based on the order details listed
• * Accurately and legibly prepare all necessary paperwork and route to appropriate department in a timely manner
• * Communicate any difficult order issues to Department Leads/ Manager
• * Inspect and maintain or report all equipment, including scanners, computer terminals, ladders and other items needed for maintaining production, safety, and or security
• * Collaborate with teams throughout the organization
• * Observe safety procedures and discuss any safety issues or concerns
• * Perform all physical requirements with or without accommodation
• * Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• * High school diploma or equivalent
• * 1-2 years' experience in a warehouse atmosphere and/or service industry as well as working collaboratively on a team in a highly customer-focused, fast paced environment
• * Possess a keen sense of follow-through and accuracy
• * Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality
• * Ability to adapt quickly to a new environment, flexible and able to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines with little or no advanced warning
• * Must be a team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist where needed

Physical Requirements

• * Must be able to lift minimum of 40 pounds at one time, up to 50 pounds
• * Ability to move around the warehouse and all areas of the facility
• * Bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, climbing, pulling, pushing
