Job summary

Graybar Electric Company in New Jersey is seeking a warehouse associate to perform physically demanding tasks daily, including cutting wires, packing and shipping inventory, and using warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities include operating pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment, maintaining a safe, organized warehouse, and ensuring accurate handling of materials for customer orders.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Ability to perform physical requirements to receive, pick, pack, ship, and move materials throughout the warehouse and pipe department.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, push carts) safely and per instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lift and move inventory.
• Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment and machinery per manufacturer instructions.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and follow safety procedures.
• Cut wire and cable with machines and ensure accuracy of cuts.
• Load, measure, cut, spool, and bundle wires and cables for job orders.
• Fill product orders according to type, length, and size requested by customer.
• Receive incoming material per WMS, identify and prepare for storage.
• Store product per WMS processes.
• Pack UPS orders per WMS for packing, weighing, manifesting, palletizing, loading.
• Pack non-UPS orders per WMS and prepare for transport.
• Prepare replenishment shipments per WMS.
• Handle stock tickets and cross-docking shipments as per WMS.
