Job summary

Eaton’s Woodridge facility is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler on the 2nd shift to keep products moving through the operation.

The role focuses on picking, packing, receiving, storing, and shipping while maintaining safety and organization. Training is provided; prior warehouse experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience with handheld RF scanners is a plus.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment and learn processes.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship products accurately and efficiently.
• Verify product numbers and quantities for order accuracy.
• Load and unload trucks and containers safely.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming stock and materials.
• Stock warehouse locations and replenish inventory as needed.

Eaton’s ES GDCO DIT division is currently seeking a Warehouse Material Handler - 2nd Shift to join the Woodridge, IL team!

The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 per hour, plus $1 shift differential per hour.

Shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm

Position Overview

Join our team as a Warehouse Associate and play a key role in keeping products moving efficiently through our operation. This position is responsible for accurately picking, packing, receiving, storing, and shipping materials while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

At Eaton, we are looking for dependable team members who are eager to learn and grow. Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required. We are willing to train qualified candidates with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.

In This Function You Will

• Pick, pack, and ship products accurately and efficiently.
• Verify product, product numbers, and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
• Load and unload trucks and containers safely.

Qualifications

Required

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Handheld / RF Scanner experience
• Forklift, Material Handling Equipment, or Powered Industrial Truck experience
• Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

Position Criteria

• Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime to align with business needs.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 35 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks
• Ability to move material as needed
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be willing to work in a variety of capacities/functions
• Must have strong attention to detail
