Eaton Corporation is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler for the Woodridge, IL area on 2nd shift. The role involves picking, packing, receiving, storing, and shipping materials while upholding safety and organization.

Prior warehouse experience is a plus, but training is available for qualified applicants. The position offers an hourly pay rate of $18.00 with a $1.00 shift differential per hour, and a 2:00pm–10:30pm shift.

Qualifications

• Handheld RF Scanner experience.
• Forklift/Material Handling Equipment/PIT experience.
• Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship products accurately and efficiently.
• Verify product, product numbers, and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
• Load and unload trucks and containers safely.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming stock and materials.
• Stock the warehouse locations and replenish inventory as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.
• Identify and report missing, damaged, or incorrect materials.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Eaton’s ES GDCO DIT division is currently seeking a Warehouse Material Handler - 2nd Shift to join the Woodridge, IL team!

The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 per hour, plus $1 shift differential per hour.

Shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm

Position Overview:

Join our team as a Warehouse Associate and play a key role in keeping products moving efficiently through our operation. This position is responsible for accurately picking, packing, receiving, storing, and shipping materials while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

At Eaton, we are looking for dependable team members who are eager to learn and grow. Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required. We are willing to train qualified candidates with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.

In this function you will:

Qualifications:

Required:

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred:

• Forklift, Material Handling Equipment, or Powered Industrial Truck experience
• Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

Position Criteria:

• Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime to align with business needs.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 35 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks
• Ability to move material as needed
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be willing to work in a variety of capacities/functions
• Must have strong attention to detail
